မိမိတို့သာလျှင် အထူးထူးသော ဝိညာဉ်ရေး မြင့်မြတ်မှုကို ရှိသည်ဟု ဆိုသော ပုဏ္ဏားရေခံ ခုနစ်ဦးနှင့် ရင်ဆိုင်ခဲ့သည့် ရေသည်၊ သူတို့က ကျိန်ဆဲလေတိုင်း ပို၍ တောက်ပလာသည့်တိုင် နောက်ဆုံးတွင် မာနပယ်ရှားသွားခဲ့ကြသည်။ ဗုဒ္ဓဃောသအရှင်က ဤသူသည် ဗောဓိသတ္တဝါဖြစ်သည်ဟု ဖော်ပြခဲ့သည်။

A sage who confronted seven brahmin hermits claiming exclusive spiritual superiority, growing more radiant the more they cursed him, until they abandoned their pride; identified by Buddhaghosa as the Bodhisatta.

ကာဠဒေဝလ ဟု ပို၍ လူသိများသည်၊ ရေ သရဘင်္ဂ၏ ထင်ရှားသော တပည့် ခုနစ်ဦးအနက် တစ်ဦးဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ညီဖြစ်သူ နာရဒကို ဝါသနာပါခြင်းမှ လွှတ်ငြားရန် ဆွဲဆောင်ရာတွင် ကူညီခဲ့သူဖြစ်သည်။ ယခုခေတ်တွင် မဟာကစ္စာယနအဖြစ် သက်ရောက်ခဲ့သည်။

More commonly called Kāḷa Devala, one of the sage Sarabhaṅga’s seven chief disciples who helped persuade his brother Nārada to give up an infatuation, and who in the present age became Mahā Kaccāna.
