一位仙人，曾对峙七位自诩天生高贵的婆罗门苦行者，任凭他们咒诅也愈发容光焕发，最终使其放弃傲慢；觉音尊者称此仙人即是菩萨。

A sage who confronted seven brahmin hermits claiming exclusive spiritual superiority, growing more radiant the more they cursed him, until they abandoned their pride; identified by Buddhaghosa as the Bodhisatta.

通常称为迦罗提婆罗，是仙人娑罗槃伽七大弟子之一，曾协助劝服其弟那罗陀放弃迷恋，此世则转生为大迦旃延尊者。

More commonly called Kāḷa Devala, one of the sage Sarabhaṅga’s seven chief disciples who helped persuade his brother Nārada to give up an infatuation, and who in the present age became Mahā Kaccāna.
