Un yakkha qui, ayant servi Vessavaṇa pendant douze ans, reçut en récompense le garçon plus tard connu sous le nom d’Āyuvaḍḍhana Kumāra, mais fut contrecarré par la présence protectrice du Bouddha le jour fixé pour la mort de l’enfant.

A yakkha who, having served Vessavaṇa for twelve years, was granted the boy later known as Āyuvaḍḍhana Kumāra as his reward, but was thwarted by the Buddha’s protective presence on the day set for the boy’s death.
