ဝေဿဝဏ် မင်းကို နှစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်နှစ် ကျွေးမွေးခဲ့သော ယက္ခတစ်ပါးသည် ထိုအကျိုးဆက်အဖြစ် နောင်တွင် အာယုဝဍ္ဎန ကုမာရ ဟု နာမည်ရမည့် သားငယ်ကို ချီးမြှင့်ခြင်းခံခဲ့ရသော်လည်း၊ သားငယ် သေဆုံးရမည့် သတ်မှတ်ရက်တွင် ဘုရားရှင်၏ ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်မှုကြောင့် အလိုမပြည့်ဝ ခဲ့ချေ

A yakkha who, having served Vessavaṇa for twelve years, was granted the boy later known as Āyuvaḍḍhana Kumāra as his reward, but was thwarted by the Buddha’s protective presence on the day set for the boy’s death.
