Ayakūṭa Jātaka
Jātaka動物供犠を禁じた王についての本生譚で、供物を失った霊たちが怒って夜に刺客を送り込むが、帝釈天自らが姿を隠して王を守っていたとは知らず、暗殺者は無力になってしまうという話である。
A Jātaka about a king who bans animal sacrifice, provoking the spirits deprived of their offerings to send an assassin against him at night, unaware that Sakka himself had come to stand invisible guard over him, rendering the would-be killer powerless.
