동물 제사를 금지한 왕에 관한 자타카로, 제물을 잃은 정령들이 분노하여 밤에 그를 노리는 자객을 보내지만, 제석천이 몸소 모습을 감추고 그를 지키고 있음을 알지 못한 채 그 자객은 힘을 쓰지 못하고 만다는 이야기이다.

A Jātaka about a king who bans animal sacrifice, provoking the spirits deprived of their offerings to send an assassin against him at night, unaware that Sakka himself had come to stand invisible guard over him, rendering the would-be killer powerless.
