一则本生故事，讲一位国王下令禁止杀生献祭，因而触怒了因此失去祭品的诸夜叉，它们夜里派出一名刺客前来行刺，殊不知帝释天已亲自现身在暗中守护，刺客因而无从下手。

A Jātaka about a king who bans animal sacrifice, provoking the spirits deprived of their offerings to send an assassin against him at night, unaware that Sakka himself had come to stand invisible guard over him, rendering the would-be killer powerless.
