一則本生故事，講一位國王下令禁止殺生獻祭，因而觸怒了因此失去祭品的諸夜叉，它們夜裡派出一名刺客前來行刺，殊不知帝釋天已親自現身在暗中守護，刺客因而無從下手。

A Jātaka about a king who bans animal sacrifice, provoking the spirits deprived of their offerings to send an assassin against him at night, unaware that Sakka himself had come to stand invisible guard over him, rendering the would-be killer powerless.
