一經講述阿難為波斯匿王解說何為無可指責的身、語、意行——即不使自己、他人或雙方受苦的行為——國王感佩之餘贈以一件貴重披風，阿難隨後又將此披風轉獻給佛陀。

A discourse in which Ānanda, questioned by King Pasenadi on what makes bodily, verbal, and mental conduct blameless, explains that it is conduct causing affliction to none, after which the grateful king presents him with a costly cloak that Ānanda in turn offers to the Buddha.
