一則本生故事，講述婆羅門苦行者菩薩從容駁斥主人稱魚為特意為他所殺的挑釁之言，用以映射尼乾陀若提子譏諷佛陀在將軍屍訶家中用膳一事。

A Jātaka about a brahmin ascetic, the Bodhisatta, who calmly rebuts a host’s claim that a fish dish was killed specially for him, told in reference to Nigaṇṭha Nāṭaputta’s sneering criticism of the Buddha for dining at the general Sīha’s house.
