बुद्ध और ब्रह्मा बक की भेंट का वर्णन करने वाला एक सूत्र, जो गलती से अपने लोक को शाश्वत और किसी भी तपस्वी की पहुँच से परे मानता था, यह थेरगाथा अट्ठकथा में उसी नाम की किंतु भिन्न कथा से अलग है जिसमें बुद्ध व चार श्रेष्ठ शिष्य उसी देवता के मत को सुधारने जाते हैं।

A discourse recounting the Buddha’s encounter with the Brahmā Baka, who wrongly believed his world eternal and beyond the reach of any ascetic, distinct from a similarly named account in the Theragāthā Commentary where the Buddha and four eminent disciples visit and correct the same deity’s view.
