Baka Jātaka
Jātaka魚をだまして一匹ずつ運んで食べようとした鶴の本生話で、最後にはだまそうとした蟹に殺されるという結末をもち、自分の企みが自分に跳ね返った仕立て屋を喩えるために説かれたもの
A birth-story of a crane who tricked fish into letting it carry and eat them, until a crab it tried to deceive killed it, told to illustrate a robe-maker’s trick that was turned back on him.
