サーガラのバラモンの娘で、成就されない結婚によりマハー・カッサパの妻となり、後に彼とともに在家生活を捨て、最終的に比丘尼として出家し阿羅漢果を得た。

A brahmin’s daughter of Sāgala who became the wife of Mahā-Kassapa in an unconsummated marriage, later renounced household life with him, and eventually was ordained as a nun and attained Arahantship.
