A market town near Kosambī, probably identical with Bhaddavatī, where the Buddha stayed after Sāgata Thera subdued a fierce Nāga at nearby Ambatittha.

ช้างพังของพระเจ้า Udena เดิมเป็นของ Caṇḍappajjota ผู้ช่วยให้ Udena หนีตามไปกับ Vāsuladattā และหลังถูกละเลยในวัยชรา ได้รับเกียรติในฐานะช้างหลวงกลับคืนมาหลังพระพุทธเจ้าทรงช่วยขอร้อง

A female elephant belonging to King Udena, originally owned by Caṇḍappajjota, who helped Udena elope with Vāsuladattā and, after being neglected in old age, had her royal honours restored following the Buddha’s intercession.
