Bhaddavatikā

A market town near Kosambī, probably identical with Bhaddavatī, where the Buddha stayed after Sāgata Thera subdued a fierce Nāga at nearby Ambatittha.
優填王的一頭母象,原屬於旃達波殊多,曾協助優填王與瓦蘇拉達多私奔,年老遭冷落後,經佛陀說情才恢復其昔日的尊榮待遇。
A female elephant belonging to King Udena, originally owned by Caṇḍappajjota, who helped Udena elope with Vāsuladattā and, after being neglected in old age, had her royal honours restored following the Buddha’s intercession.
