အဝတ်အစား ဝတ်ဆင်သော ပရိဗိုဇ်တစ်ပါးဖြစ်ပြီး၊ အဝတ်မပါသည့် တပေါဓနများနှင့် မတူဘဲ၊ အနုပိယမြို့အနီးတွင် နေထိုင်ကာ သုနက္ခတ္တ၏ မိတ်ဆွေဖြစ်သည်။ မြတ်စွာဘုရားသည် တစ်ကြိမ်တွင် သူ့ထံ ကြွရောက်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပြီး ထိုအကြောင်းကို ပါဋိကသုတ်တွင် မှတ်တမ်းတင်ထားသည်။ သူသည် ဘဂ္ဂဝဂိုဏ်းဝင်ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် ထိုအမည်ဖြင့် ခေါ်ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။
