一位穿衣的游方者（有别于裸行苦行者），居于阿奴比耶附近，是萨那伽多的朋友；佛陀曾拜访他，两人的对话载于《波梨经》；他之所以得名，是因出身巴伽婆氏族。

A wanderer who wore clothes, unlike naked ascetics, living near Anupiyā and a friend of Sunakkhatta, whom the Buddha once visited for a conversation recorded in the Pāṭika Sutta; he was so named because he belonged to the Bhaggava clan.
