A discourse of the Cūḷa Vagga of the Suttanipāta in which the Buddha responds to elderly wealthy brahmins of Kosala by contrasting the high moral standards of ancient brahmins with the greed, animal sacrifice, and moral decline of their own time, after which the visitors declare themselves his followers.
