tena kho pana samayena brahm'āyu brāhmaṇo mithilāyaṃ paṭivasati jiṇṇo vuḍḍho mahallako addhagato vayoanuppatto, vīsavassasatiko jātiyā, tiṇṇaṃ vedānaṃ pāragū sanighaṇḍukeṭubhānaṃ sākkharappabhedānaṃ itihāsapañcamānaṃ, padako, veyyākaraṇo, lok'āyata-mahāpurisalakkhaṇesu anavayo.

Person弥萨罗(Mithilā)一位博学的婆罗门,一百二十岁时曾派弟子优多罗(Uttara)前往查验佛陀身上大人相之真伪,后亲自拜见佛陀,去世后被佛陀宣告已证得阿那含果。
A brahmin scholar of Mithilā who, at the age of one hundred and twenty, sent his pupil Uttara to verify the Buddha’s bodily marks of a Great Man, and who, upon meeting the Buddha himself, was declared after his death to have become a Non-returner.
