စာလိကာ (Cālikā) အနီးရှိ တောင်ကုန်းတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး ဗုဒ္ဓ ကြွရောက်စဉ် တည်းခိုတော်မူခဲ့သည်။ ညအမှောင်ရင့်ချိန်တွင် ရွေ့လျားနေသကဲ့သို့ ခံစားမိစေသော အဖြူရောင်ကြောင့် ထိုအမည်ရသည်ဟု ဆိုသည်။
