波羅奈國王，三度造訪花園目睹同一株樹由光禿到繁花再到枯萎，因而領悟衰老與死亡乃一切眾生所共，遂證得辟支佛果。

A king of Bārāṇasī who, observing a tree change from bare to blossoming to withered over three visits, realised the universality of decay and death and became a Pacceka Buddha.

波羅奈國王，見隨從將一株花樹採摘殆盡而旁邊無花之樹卻安然無恙，因而省悟財物所帶來的禍患，遂棄位出家，證得辟支佛果。

A king of Bārāṇasī who, seeing a flowering tree stripped bare by his retinue while a flowerless tree nearby was left untouched, reflected on the trouble caused by possessions, renounced his throne, and became a Pacceka Buddha.
