佛陀的一位杰出在家弟子，已证不还果，曾在舍卫城慷慨供养聚集的大批民众，因其布施之丰堪比给孤独长者，故得“小给孤独”之别名。

An eminent lay disciple of the Buddha and a Non-returner, whose generosity in feeding a vast multitude at Sāvatthi rivalled that of Anāthapiṇḍika, from whom he took his epithet ‘lesser Anāthapiṇḍika.’
