වන ආරාමයක එකට වාසය කරන භික්ෂූන් තිදෙනෙකු බුදුන් වහන්සේ බැහැදකින අතර, ඔවුන්ගේ භාවනාවට බාධා වේ යැයි බියෙන් සිටි උපස්ථායකයා මුලින් ඔහුව ආපසු හරවා යැවීමට තැත් කරයි; පසුව උන්වහන්සේ ඔවුන්ගේ ධ්‍යාන ලාභය ගැන විචාරා ඔවුන්ගේ සමගිය ප්‍රශංසා කරන අතර, පසුව එක් දෙවතාවක් එය දෙව්ලොව දක්වාම කීර්තිමත් බව තහවුරු කරයි.

A discourse in which the Buddha visits three monks dwelling together in a forest grove, is initially turned away by their attendant fearing to disturb their meditation, then questions them about their spiritual attainments and praises the harmony of their communal life, later confirmed by a spirit as renowned even among the gods.
