एक जातक कथा जिसमें बोधिसत्व, हंसराज धतरट्ठ के रूप में जन्मा, एक बहेलिये के जाल में फँस जाता है और केवल अपने मंत्री सुमुख की भक्ति से मुक्त होता है, जिसकी निष्ठा का प्रतिफल हंसराज बाद में एक मानव राजा की उदारता द्वारा देता है।

A Jātaka in which the Bodhisatta, born as the goose-king Dhataraṭṭha, is caught in a fowler’s snare and freed only through the devotion of his minister Sumukha, whose loyalty the goose-king later rewards through a human king’s generosity.
