눈먼 어머니를 사냥하는 바라문으로부터 구하기 위해 원숭이 형제 두 마리가 목숨을 바치는 본생담으로, 그 바라문은 세 마리 모두를 죽인 뒤 곧 재앙을 당해 지옥에 태어난다.

A Jātaka in which two monkey brothers offer their lives to save their blind mother from a hunting brahmin, who kills all three and is soon after struck by disaster and reborn in hell.
