一經講述佛陀向帝釋天簡要說明比丘如何借滅除貪愛而得解脫，大目犍連懷疑帝釋是否真正領會此法，遂前往探詢，起初帝釋以展示宮殿威能來回避問題，直到目犍連震動其宮殿令他驚惶失措，才終於逐字複述出佛陀原本的解說。

A discourse in which the Buddha briefly explains to Sakka how a monk is liberated through the destruction of craving, after which Mahā-Moggallāna, doubting whether Sakka truly grasped the teaching, visits him, is met at first with an evasive display of divine power, and only receives the correct answer, word for word, after shaking Sakka’s palace to unsettle him.
