バラモンのチャンキーが賢い若い学者をオパーサダで仏陀に質問させに連れて来る様子を語る経典で、仏陀はバラモンが真理を独占するという主張を退け、信が洞察を通じてどのように悟りに導くかを説明し、若者の改宗で締めくくられる。

A discourse recounting how the brahmin Caṅkī brings a clever young scholar to question the Buddha at Opāsāda, in which the Buddha rejects brahmin claims to sole possession of truth and explains how faith leads through insight to realization, ending with the youth’s conversion.
