พระสูตรเล่าถึงพราหมณ์จังกีที่พาปราชญ์หนุ่มผู้ฉลาดไปทูลถามพระพุทธเจ้าที่โอปาสาทะ พระพุทธเจ้าทรงปฏิเสธคำอ้างของพราหมณ์ว่าตนผูกขาดสัจธรรม แล้วทรงอธิบายว่าศรัทธานำไปสู่ปัญญาและการรู้แจ้งได้อย่างไร จบลงด้วยการที่ชายหนุ่มหันมานับถือพระพุทธศาสนา

A discourse recounting how the brahmin Caṅkī brings a clever young scholar to question the Buddha at Opāsāda, in which the Buddha rejects brahmin claims to sole possession of truth and explains how faith leads through insight to realization, ending with the youth’s conversion.
