舍卫城一位地主之子出身的阿罗汉，禅修中因专注修行而未及时医治眼疾致使双目失明，虽盲仍证得阿罗汉果，后来护送他的侄儿半途弃他而去，帝释天亲自现身引导他安全返乡。

An Arahant, son of a Sāvatthi landowner, who lost his sight to untreated ophthalmia while single-mindedly pursuing meditation, attained Arahantship despite his blindness, and was later led safely home by Sakka after his escorting nephew abandoned him.
