講述龍王 Campeyya（菩薩）的本生故事：他前世為貧民，因豔羨節慶上所見龍王的威儀而發願，死後即投生為該龍王，後被弄蛇人捕獲展演，幸賴忠貞的王后 Sumanā 尋訪相救。

A Jātaka about Campeyya, a poor man who longed for the splendour of a Nāga king he glimpsed at a festival and was reborn as that very Nāga king, only to be captured and exhibited by a snake-charmer until his devoted queen Sumanā secured his release.
