一则本生故事，讲述苦行者菩萨临终留下‘月光与日光’之语，由对应舍利弗的首座弟子正确解读，用以说明舍利弗在僧伽舍城门前巧解一道难题之事。

A Jātaka about an ascetic, the Bodhisatta, whose dying words ‘moonlight and sunlight’ are correctly interpreted by his chief pupil, identified with Sāriputta, told to illustrate Sāriputta’s skill at solving a riddle at the gates of Saṅkassa.
