一則本生故事，講述苦行者菩薩臨終留下『月光與日光』之語，由對應舍利弗的首座弟子正確解讀，用以說明舍利弗在僧伽舍城門前巧解一道難題之事。

A Jātaka about an ascetic, the Bodhisatta, whose dying words ‘moonlight and sunlight’ are correctly interpreted by his chief pupil, identified with Sāriputta, told to illustrate Sāriputta’s skill at solving a riddle at the gates of Saṅkassa.
