チッタクータの雁二羽が樹神（菩薩）と友となり共に法を語り合う話で、ジャッカルが邪魔をしたため雁は飛び去り二度と戻らなかったというジャータカ。舎利弗と目犍連の会話を遮った老比丘に関連して語られた。

A Jātaka about two geese from Cittakūṭa who befriend a tree-spirit, the Bodhisatta, and discuss the Dhamma together until a jackal interrupts them, causing the geese to fly off and never return — told with reference to an old monk who interrupted a conversation between Sāriputta and Moggallāna.
