  • A Lambakaṇṇa noble who served King Kassapa I, later quarrelled with him, and was the father of King Silākāla.

  • The second son of King Silākāla who seized the throne by murdering his younger brother Upatissa, ruled briefly, and then took his own life after being defeated by his elder brother Moggallāna.

  • A royal prince contemporary with King Aggabodhi I who, enraged at the monk Jotipāla’s defeat of the Vetullavādins, tried to strike him but was struck with an ulcer and died soon after refusing to apologize.
