A Lambakaṇṇa noble who served King Kassapa I, later quarrelled with him, and was the father of King Silākāla.

실라깔라 왕의 둘째 아들로, 동생 우빠띳사를 살해하여 왕위를 찬탈했으나 잠시 통치한 뒤 형 목갈라나에게 패배하고 스스로 목숨을 끊었다

The second son of King Silākāla who seized the throne by murdering his younger brother Upatissa, ruled briefly, and then took his own life after being defeated by his elder brother Moggallāna.

악가보디 1세와 동시대의 왕자로, 비구 조띠빨라가 웨뚤라와딘을 논파한 데 격노하여 그를 치려 했으나 도리어 종기에 걸려 사죄를 거부한 지 얼마 되지 않아 죽었다

A royal prince contemporary with King Aggabodhi I who, enraged at the monk Jotipāla’s defeat of the Vetullavādins, tried to strike him but was struck with an ulcer and died soon after refusing to apologize.
