아첨하는 말로 달래려 했지만 결국 표범에게 잡아먹힌 길 잃은 염소에 관한 자타카로, 대신 표범을 뛰어넘어 도망친, 대목건련이 산속 오두막 근처에서 본 다른 암염소와 관련하여 설해졌다

A Jātaka about a stray goat devoured by a panther despite her attempts to pacify it with flattering words, told of a different she-goat, seen by Mahā-Moggallāna near his mountain hut, who instead leapt over a panther and escaped.
