Dabbhapuppha Jātaka
Jātaka一则本生故事,讲一只豺狼受邀为两只争夺共同捕获之鱼的水獭仲裁,把鱼头鱼尾分给它们、自己独吞中段精肉,是佛陀就比丘 Upananda 在两位长老之间类似的自利仲裁所说。
A birth story about a jackal who, asked to arbitrate a dispute between two otters over a fish they caught together, gives each the head and tail while keeping the choice middle portion for himself, told in reference to the monk Upananda’s similarly self-serving arbitration between two elders.
