Dabbhapuppha Jātaka
Jātaka一則本生故事,講一隻豺狼受邀為兩隻爭奪共同捕獲之魚的水獺仲裁,把魚頭魚尾分給它們、自己獨吞中段精肉,是佛陀就比丘 Upananda 在兩位長老之間類似的自利仲裁所說。
A birth story about a jackal who, asked to arbitrate a dispute between two otters over a fish they caught together, gives each the head and tail while keeping the choice middle portion for himself, told in reference to the monk Upananda’s similarly self-serving arbitration between two elders.
