ධනය සඳහා ජනතාව පීඩාවට පත් කළ රාජගහ හි බ්‍රාහ්මණ ඇමතිවරයෙක්, තෙක් සාරිපුත්ත ස්ථවිරයන් ධාර්මිකත්වය ගැන අවවාද කරන තෙක්, තම මරණාසන්න මොහොතේදී සාරිපුත්ත ස්ථවිරයන් විසින් බ්‍රහ්ම ලෝකයට එක්වීමට මඟ පෙන්වන ලද, නමුත් ඔහු එහි පහත් ලෝකයකට ම උපත ලද බව බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ පැවසූහ

A brahmin minister of Rājagaha who oppressed the people for wealth until Sāriputta admonished him on righteousness, and who, on his deathbed, was guided by Sāriputta toward union with a Brahma-world, though the Buddha said he was reborn in one of its lower realms.
