西暦460年から478年まで統治したスリランカ王で、Kālavāpi貯水池と数多くの寺院を建立したことで知られ、後に息子Kassapaによって幽閉され殺害された。

A king of Sri Lanka who ruled 460 to 478 CE, celebrated for building the Kālavāpi reservoir and numerous monasteries, before being imprisoned and killed by his son Kassapa.
