पुक्कुसाति को दिया गया एक प्रवचन जिसमें छह धातुओं — पृथ्वी, जल, अग्नि, वायु, आकाश और विज्ञान — की शिक्षा है, जिसके बाद बुद्ध को पहचानने वाले शिष्य ने प्रव्रज्या माँगी परंतु पात्र और चीवर लेने जाते समय एक उन्मत्त गाय द्वारा मार डाला गया।

A discourse taught to Pukkusāti on the six elements of earth, water, fire, air, space and consciousness, after which the recognising disciple sought ordination but was killed by a mad cow on his way to fetch bowl and robe.
