အတ္ထဒဿီဗုဒ္ဓ ခေတ်တွင် တရားတော်ကို ကြားနာခဲ့ပြီး ဝမ်းသာစွာဖြင့် ရှိခိုးခဲ့သော ရဟန္တာတစ်ပါးဖြစ်သည်၊ နောင်တွင် အမိတ္တတာပန ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့် ဘုရင်ဖြစ်လာခဲ့ပြီး၊ ပဝိဋ္ဌ မထေရ်နှင့် တစ်ဦးတည်းဖြစ်နိုင်သည်။

An Arahant who, in the time of Atthadassī Buddha, heard him teach and, gladdened by the discourse, paid homage; he later became a king under the name Amittatāpana, and is probably identical with the elder Paviṭṭha.
