一位阿羅漢，Atthadassī 佛時代聞法後心生歡喜，禮敬佛陀；此後以阿彌多多波那之名為王，可能即波毘他長老。

An Arahant who, in the time of Atthadassī Buddha, heard him teach and, gladdened by the discourse, paid homage; he later became a king under the name Amittatāpana, and is probably identical with the elder Paviṭṭha.
