出身設多毗耶的一位比丘，因只聞一次佛法便證得阿羅漢果，因此得名「一聞法者」。

A monk of Setabyā who attained Arahantship after hearing the Buddha’s teaching only once, hence his name meaning ‘one who heard the Dhamma once’.
