  • Ein sehr armer Brahmane zur Zeit des Buddha Vipassī, der nur ein einziges Gewand besaß, das er sich mit seiner Frau teilte, es dem Buddha in einem Moment freudiger Großzügigkeit schenkte und mit Reichtum und dem Amt des königlichen Kaplans belohnt wurde.

  • A very poor brahmin in the time of Vipassī Buddha who, owning only a single garment shared with his wife, gave it to the Buddha in a moment of joyous generosity and was rewarded with riches and the post of royal chaplain.
