Jetavana හිදී වර්ණ භේද ගැන බුදුන් වහන්සේගෙන් විමසූ බ්‍රාහ්මණයෙකි. සිව්වන්ම වර්ණවලට සමානව යහපත් ජීවිතයක් ගත කළ හැකි බව ඉගැන්වූ අතර, දේශනාව අවසානයේ අනුගාමිකයෙකු බවට පත් විය.
