Person一位婆羅門,曾在祇陀林向佛陀請教種姓之別,佛陀教導四姓皆可同等踐行善法,他因此在法會結束時皈依佛陀。
A brahmin who questioned the Buddha at Jetavana about caste distinctions and was taught that all four castes can equally live the good life, becoming a follower at the discourse’s end.

Person波羅奈國王,與膝下無子的祭司情誼深厚;祭司靠樹神庇佑得四子,四子相繼出家,他本人(即淨飯王的前生)最終也隨之出家,事見《象護本生》。
A king of Bārāṇasī, close friend of his childless chaplain, whose four sons all renounced the world one by one — a story in which he himself, a past life of Suddhodana, ultimately joined them.
