බුදුන් වහන්සේගේ යමක ප්‍රාතිහාර්යය දුටු පසු පැවිදි වී, ගහ්වරතීර නම් ස්ථානයක වාසය කරමින් අර්හත් ඵලයට පත් වූ, ඒ නමින්ම හඳුන්වනු ලැබූ අග්ගිදත්ත නම් සාවත්ථි නුවර බමුණෙකි.

A brahmin of Sāvatthi named Aggidatta who entered the Order after witnessing the Buddha’s Twin Miracle and became an Arahant while living at a spot called Gahvaratīra, from which he took his name.
