Ñātika အနီးရှိ တောနေရာတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ထိုနေရာတွင် ဗုဒ္ဓသည် Anuruddha၊ Nandiya နှင့် Kimbila တို့ကို ဖူးမျှော်ခဲ့ပြီး နောက်ပိုင်း ရှင်သာရိပုတ္တရာ၊ မဟာမောဂ္ဂလာန်နှင့် အခြားထင်ရှားသော ရဟန်းတော်များကို ဖူးမျှော်ခဲ့ခြင်းက Cūḷagosiṅga Sutta နှင့် Mahāgosiṅga Sutta တို့ ဟောကြားခြင်း၏ အကြောင်းရင်းဖြစ်ခဲ့သည်။

A forest tract near Ñātika where the Buddha’s visits to Anuruddha, Nandiya and Kimbila, and later to Sāriputta, Mahā-Moggallāna and other eminent monks, occasioned the teaching of the Cūḷagosiṅga and Mahāgosiṅga Suttas.
