王舎城近郊のヴェーディヤカ山にある洞窟で、ブッダがそこに滞在していたとき帝釈天が訪れて『サッカパンハ・スッタ』に記された問いを発した場所であり、後に中国の巡礼者たちがその問答を刻んだ銘文が洞内にあると記録した。
